About 8th Annual University of Eldoret Innovation Week

An annual celebration of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship at the University of Eldoret

Our Purpose

The University of Eldoret’s Innovation Weeks and Public Lectures are a cornerstone of our institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of creativity, research, and knowledge sharing. These events provide a dynamic platform for students, faculty, industry leaders, policymakers, and the broader community to engage with cutting-edge innovations and explore their potential for societal impact.

The 8th Annual University of Eldoret Innovation Week and Public Lecture brings together students, researchers, innovators, industry and policy partners from 10 to 12 February 2027 at the New-Site Grounds and NS3. Under the theme “From Ideas to Impact: Innovating for a Changing World”, the week features the 4th University of Eldoret Innovation Challenge pitching competition, the Innovation Exhibition, an Intellectual Property awareness seminar, a panel discussion on scaling innovation, technology and research outputs, an award ceremony and the Public Lecture.
